Our CemeteryThe Rutland Jewish Cemetery is a private religious cemetery located on a beautiful hillside on 925 Airport Road in North Clarendon. Burial plots are available to both members and non-members. Please contact the Cemetery Chair to purchase a cemetery plot. Chair, Mj Hochberg.
The rules and regulations governing burial in the cemetery are determined by the Rutland Jewish Centers Board of Directors with the advice of the Cemetery Committee. The Rutland Jewish Center Cemetery Committee oversees maintenance of the Cemetery, approves all burial purchases, and monuments. The committee sets guidelines for the size and positioning of tombstones, markers, shrubbery, etc. to ensure the integrity of the cemetery and adjacent cemetery plots. |
The Rabbi or the Ritual Committee of the Rutland Jewish Center must approve any outside officiate for a graveside services on the premises of the Rutland Jewish Cemetery. Please contact President Kathy Felder to make arrangements.
