Our JDS students wrote letters and drew pictures to send to Israel Defense Forces soldiers, With the understanding that there is always more to do, this week the kids decided to undertake another project – raising money for Magen David Adom, an organization in Israel that oversees disaster relief, as well as ambulance and blood services.  As one student remarked: “There are a lot of bad things going on in Israel and we want to help.”  
With the goal of raising money from within our congregation, quoting a page from the Magen David Adom website: By donating money, you can save a life in Israel from thousands of miles away. JDS will be collecting money through the end of Chanukah. If you would like to donate, Click Here. 

Prep and Serve Breakfast

Recurring every fourth Monday of each month, the RJC is proud to be joining the Companions in Wholeness ministry at the United Methodist Church, Rutland, VT. This group makes hundreds of breakfasts and lunches every day for people in our community.

To participate in this endeavor, please sign up for the month that works for you by clicking here. This will lead you to the "RJC Sign up-Methodist Church Meal Prep" sheet. Having 6-8 people available per month is preferable.
