Reservations for the Community Passover meal must be made by April 1, 2025

Community Passover Seder—April 12, 5:30 pm

Saturday, April 12 beginning at 5:30 pm, the Rutland Jewish Center will hold its annual Passover Community Seder. Celebrate the first night of Pesach by joining in the community fun. Reservations are required. The cost for the catered meal is $50 per adult and $25 for children 6—12, it is free for children under 6.
As the meal is catered, you must RSVP by Tuesday April 1, to Jane Kierstein by phone or email. Payments for meals may be via check or credit card. Please note that there is a 3% service fee for credit card payments.

Ski season is ending, so let's get together and enjoy it together!  A group from RJC will be meeting on April 13 for a final day of outdoor fun on the slopes at Pico. This event is for all ages and abilities and is open for anyone wishing to join us. (Tickets and equipment not included). Some limited instruction will be offered (Please contact Lee DeSantis directly to arrange if you want this). After enjoying time on the slopes, there will be a small non-kosher tailgate BBQ (weather permitting) in the parking lot near the double chair, Front left corner, coming into the lot, starting at​
about 1 pm. Please contact Lee DeSantis if you have any questions and  to RSVP if you plan to join the BBQ.

Please join us for International Folk Dancing at the RJC. Come and dance, or you can enjoy sitting and watching. Please bring clean, dry shoes for dancing. For more information, please get in touch with Judy.

Meal ​Prep For Those in Need

Occurring several times a month, The RJC is proud to join the Companions in Wholeness ministry at the United Methodist Church, in preparing meals for those in need.  Volunteers are needed for all days. 
If you are interested in helping out in one of these dates in February, please get in touch with Barry to find out which day(s) might need help.  

​Seventh Day of Passover/Yizkor Service

A Wing and a Prayer
Yom Hashoah and Yom HaAtzma'ut

Tuesday, April 29 join us for a documentary called "A Wing and a Prayer."  A 2015 documentary about a secret World War II operation to deliver weapons to the Israeli Army. The operation was led by Al Schwimmer and took place in 1948 to prevent a second Holocaust.
