Attached via email was a two page piece I wrote to help review what we started to learn on Tuesday about the Jewish calendar. Please print out, read the first page and complete the second page carefully.

Next week we will have a quiz on the names of the Hebrew months. Everything you need to know is on page 40.

I will provide a list of the names of the 12 months and you will have to say which season they belong in.

Remember, no Jr. Congregation this Shabbat; Jessica and I are going out of town to a bar mitzvah.

History/Philosophy - Nancy Garfinkel

Hi Everyone,

One of our students had a difficult time accessing the website with the information necessary to complete last week's homework assignment. Today, I arranged to have the use of the RJC office computer in order for us to view the website together and be able to gather the necessary information.  Now the assignment regarding Ellis Island and the Jewish migration to America can be completed for next week and we will pick up from there.
 
For homework this week:  Ari: none,  Robyn: finish the assignment.  We will have a look at the new issue of Babaganewz while in class next week.
