: Okay, I'll bite. Why would any Jewish organization "actively promote" the sale... etc. of nonkosher food. That seems rather antithetical to the halachic tradition upon which most of our branches are based.

: So now, I must ask, are you posting this because you know of a particular instance in which the RJC did, or might have done such a thing? Or is this simply a rhetorical question?

: If the former, I am curious to know of the circumstances. If the latter, I would say, unequivocally, "no." It is, perhaps, not the RJC's business what members choose to eat outside of the 'gog. But to "actively promote" the sale, etc. of nonkosher food seems, at the very least, like bad juju (pun intended).
