Visit Us!

We are located at 96 Grove Street (at Library Avenue), in Rutland, VT — easily accessible by car. There is limited on-street parking near the entrance, with plenty of parking within a short walk. Please plan your arrival accordingly in times of inclement weather, and for heavily-attended events such as High Holy Days services, weddings, and other occasions.

 

 


Driving Directions

From the North
(Pittsford, Brandon, Middlebury)
Take Route 7 South toward Rutland. Begin counting lights AFTER the intersection of Routes 7 and 3 in Pittsford (Mobil Station at intersection).
Follow Route 7 South 7.0 miles, through two more traffic lights. The second light will be Crescent Avenue.
The second street on the RIGHT past Crescent is Kendall Ave. Turn RIGHT onto Kendall Avenue
Follow Kendall Avenue to the bottom of the hill. Kendall becomes Library Avenue. The Rutland Jewish Center is on the left, just BEFORE the next light (Grove Street), directly across from the Rutland Middle School. The Library Avenue entrance (three glass doors) is wheelchair and stroller accessible.
From the South
(Clarendon, Wallingford, Danby, Dorset)
Take Route 7 North toward Rutland. Begin counting mileage/lights AFTER the intersection of Routes 7 and 4 West (traffic light, Diamond Run Mall Drive on right)
Follow Route 7 North (Main Street) 2.5 miles, through 12 more traffic lights. Stay in the left lane as you continue past the 12th light (intersection of Route 4 East)
The second street on the LEFT after Route 4 East is Kendall Ave. Turn LEFT onto Kendall Avenue
Follow Kendall Avenue to the bottom of the hill. Kendall becomes Library Avenue. The Rutland Jewish Center is on the left, just BEFORE the next light (Grove Street), directly across from the Rutland Middle School. The Library Avenue entrance (three glass doors) is wheelchair and stroller accessible.
From the East
(Mendon, Killington. Pittsfield, Stockbridge, Rochester)
Take Route 4 West toward Rutland. and the intersection of Routes 4 and 7. Make a RIGHT at the light onto Route 7 North, (North Main Street in Rutland).
The second street on the LEFT is Kendall Ave. Make a LEFT onto Kendall Avenue.
Follow Kendall Avenue to the bottom of the hill. Kendall becomes Library Avenue. The Rutland Jewish Center is on the left, just BEFORE the next light (Grove Street), directly across from the Rutland Middle School. The Library Avenue entrance (three glass doors) is wheelchair and stroller accessible.
From the West
(Castleton, Poultney, Fair Haven, NY State) Take Route 4 East in VT to Route 7. Make a LEFT at the Light onto Route 7 North, toward Rutland.
Follow Route 7 North (Main Street) 2.5 miles, through 12 more traffic lights. Stay in the left lane as you continue past the 12th light (intersection of Route 4 East).
The second street on the LEFT after Route 4 East is Kendall Ave. Make a LEFT onto Kendall Avenue
Follow Kendall Avenue to the bottom of the hill. Kendall becomes Library Avenue.
