Sisterhood of the RJC
The Sisterhood of the Rutland Jewish Center is a community association of women from the Rutland region. Active since the mid-twentieth century, Sisterhood's mission is to:

Membership in the RJC Sisterhood is open to members of the Rutland Jewish Center as well as nonaffiliated Jewish women in the area.

- Encourage the customs and traditions of Judaism
- Encourage and support the religious school
- Provide scholarships when appropriate
- Encourage and support community service, and
- Support the Constitution and Bylaws of the Rutland Jewish Center

Copies of our Sisterhood's latest cookbook, Kosher Yankee Centennial: 100 Years of Jewish Cooking in Vermont, are now available for purchase. The 3-ring binder, hardcover cookbooks, with stunning cover art by Peter Huntoon, contain nearly 600 recipes and come with their own stand.
