The Rutland Jewish Center is a community synagogue that welcomes diverse families and backgrounds, integrating tradition and creativity, contemporary issues and Jewish values. We study, work, pray, sing and learn together. And we celebrate and support families in the cycle of their lives.

We are a traditional, egalitarian congregation affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism and serving Rutland and the region. In our highly participatory and active congregation, young and old, women and men, singles and families are welcome. Our doors are open to interfaith families, observant, progressive and to anyone wanting to explore Jewish identity and rituals.

We pride ourselves on our commitment to our synagogue, our community and each other. Because of our small numbers, we are able to give our children special attention, which helps to build a strong Jewish identity. Each member of our synagogue family contributes to the diverse talents of our congregation. If you become a member, we would encourage your active participation in any way you feel comfortable.

Single or Family Membership includes adult education programs, High Holy Days Services, and use of our facilities for members planning life cycle events.
